Refurbished during the abnormal times of the pandemic, the Robina Medical Centre is a super-clinic success story, completed meticulously by our dynamic team. Decocorp rose above the numerous hurdles associated with interstate restrictions, safety protocols and resource scarcity, to deliver first-class construction. The entire project was delivered in a live environment refurbishment, meaning that the clinical operations of the business continued to function undisrupted with zero-impact.

Serving as a hub for administrating immigration vaccinations, this busy medical centre was operating at full capacity during the short four weeks of construction. We worked around the clock, day and night, to ensure that our operations never impeded on our client’s business. It’s part of our mission working in a live environment, to deliver our construction services discretely, to the degree that customers do not even know there is construction being undertaken.

Decocorp completed design of the project with special attention placed on repurposing existing rooms, which included a dental suite that was strategically redesigned and transformed to serve as an occupational health consultation room. The refurbished sections were designed for seamless integration with the existing modern aesthetics of the Centre. Attention to detail was given to each specific clinical function of the various departments.

The services design took shape with consideration of all existing mechanical needs, hydraulics, fire services and electrical specifications. Fire compartments were maintained, and all systems and refurbishment works were approved by the certifier and built to compliance to state authority and local council regulations.

All works were completed under strict adherence to Covid-19 Safety Management Plans with QR code tracking and sign in/sign off documentation.

Remarkably, the team was able to successfully complete works ahead of schedule, almost a week earlier than the original completion date. It was delivered to the client’s budget, free of defects and most importantly, safely.
