Healius engaged Decocorp to undertake the planning, design, and construction of Maroubra Medical & Dental Centre’s refurbishment of existing facilities.

The scope of works included the construction of multiple clinical facilities, carefully managed around the centre’s highly active live environment operations. The works covered new procedure and treatment rooms, new staff area, compliant public bathroom facilities, new physiotherapy, general centre refresh, new pathology collection rooms, and joinery and light upgrades.

As part of the project, Decocorp undertook the upgrade over multiple stages, all planned and executed per programme, with zero impact on day to day operations.

The team developed a strategy to demarcate all work areas and complete demolition and disruptive works during a small window of opportunity after hours, minimising disruption.

The successful delivery of the project was the stepping stone to a further 5 medical centre upgrades with the client to which we continue to be preferred managing contractor.
